We are excited to announce an openings for an Internship within our Business Management / Finance Department based in Dublin. 

As part of our year-long placement, our students play an integral role in the success of Enterprise. For a college student, real world professional business experience can put you above the rest when you enter the job market.

It’s learning by doing, not by getting coffee or filing all day. Our interns take on the same challenges on their internship as our first and second year full-time professionals. You’ll be part of a team-based environment where Enterprise employees are supportive and fun to work with.

This position will commence in summer 2024 and offers a varied role with exciting and unique learning and development opportunities. The ideal candidate will portray strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organisational and time management skills and exceptional attention to detail.


Responsibilities

  • Review and approval of sales ledger journal entries
  • Administrative support in terms of billing corrections and adjustments
  • Assisting the financial statement preparer in producing monthly management accounts
  • Assisting the accounts payable function by taking ownership of a number of suppliers, chasing appropriate authorisation of their invoices, coding them in accordance with our chart of accounts and processing for payment
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Prepare financial entries and monthly account schedules
  • Monthly preparation of P&L and Balance Sheet schedules
  • Preparing and submitting Ledger Journal entries
  • Review timely completion of internal controls and processes on a daily basis
  • Review and analyse monthly statements to ensure their integrity and accuracy
  • Work with other departments to understand and support our business as a whole

Qualifications

  • Good interpersonal skills and an ability to maintain sensitive information and records
  • Solid PC skills, Microsoft Word and Excel at a minimu

What you need to know: 

  • Hours: 40 per week
  • Duration: July 2024 for 12 months

We accept applications for our Placement Programme from undergraduate university students that are due to take undertake a placement year starting summer 2024.
